Why this course?

When it comes to negative numbers, student tend to get very confused. They start combining what they know traditionally about adding and subtraction to solve problems with negative numbers. They become very unsure of themselves based on what they know and are trying to learn.

In the end, they don't fully understand what negative numbers represent and often times come up with 2 or more answers. In this course, we will go back to the basics of using a number line to add and subtract negative numbers. Then, provide strategies to solve these types of problems without.
